...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK NOW IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE SATURDAY
NIGHT...
...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM EST
SATURDAY...

* WHAT...For the High Rip Current Risk, dangerous rip currents.
For the Coastal Flood Advisory, minor coastal flooding.

* WHERE...Coastal Volusia, Brevard, Indian River, Saint Lucie,
  and Martin Counties.

* WHEN...For the High Rip Current Risk, through late Saturday
night. For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 10 PM EST
  Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Some flooding of low-lying lots, parks and roadways
may occur near the shoreline. Water may reach the dune line or
sea wall along vulnerable beaches. Rip currents can sweep even
the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Onshore winds and above normal tides will combine to generate
flooding of low areas along the shore. Do not drive around
barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary
actions to protect flood-prone property.

Entering the surf is strongly discouraged. If caught in a rip
current, relax and float. Don`t swim against the current. If
able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to
escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.
