A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...
Lake Michigan nearshore and open waters to mid lake from Port
Washington WI to Winthrop Harbor IL...

At 805 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated an outflow boundary capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. This front was located along
a line extending from 17 nm east of Port Washington to 12 nm west of
Oak Creek to 22 nm north of McHenry to 41 nm northwest of Elgin,
moving east at 35 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
