.DISCUSSION...

Light, southeasterly 20 foot winds are forecast locally today,
with gusts expected to remain at or below 10 MPH. Southerly
transport winds between 5-15 MPH are anticipated near ignition,
and will weaken as they turn southwesterly this afternoon.
Temperatures will climb from the low 40s at ignition to the upper
50s by late this afternoon, supporting minimum relative humidities
between 30 and 35 percent. Should temperatures climb higher than
currently forecast, relative humidity minimums could briefly drop
as low as 25 percent. Relative humidity recovery to near 85
percent is expected tonight, with easterly transport winds
shifting out of the southeast near midnight.

Southeasterly winds will be breezier during the day on Thursday,
allowing high temperatures to climb into the mid-60s locally.
Southeast transport winds will peak near 15 MPH during the
afternoon. Relative humidity minimums in the 30-35 percent range
are expected once more, though readings could briefly fall to
25-30 percent should temperatures warm faster than currently
forecast.
