.DISCUSSION...
Some lingering low clouds this morning will clear out through
daybreak. Today will be drier with lighter northerly winds as
high pressure begins to build into the Upper Midwest. For areas
between the Kettle Moraine and the lakefront mixing heights will
top off between 2.1 - 4.6 kft with min RHs ranging from 40-60%.
For areas west of the Kettle Moraine further inland mixing
heights will be higher ranging between 4.7 - 5.8 kft with min RHs
30-40% range. While the forecast is trended toward the lower side
of RHs today given the incoming subsidence and drier airmass,
still cannot rule out pockets of lower RH values around or just
below 30% this afternoon. Northerly winds are expected to remain
below 10 mph, but could see an occasional stronger gust at times,
especially if a lake breeze develops and pushes inland through
the afternoon bringing a more east-northeasterly wind shift. High
pressure moves overhead overnight and light winds and drier
conditions persist.
