...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Slick and hazardous roads due to lingering snowpack and
  black ice. Light freezing rain or drizzle possible after midnight.
  Total ice accumulations around a light glaze.

* WHERE...East Carteret and West Carteret Counties, and Hatteras
  Island and Ocracoke Island.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Very slippery sidewalks, roads and bridges are possible.
  The hazardous conditions will likely impact the commute this
  evening and Thursday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling. Allow ample distance
between yourself and other vehicles to avoid the risk of a collision
if slippery conditions are encountered. Allow extra time to reach
