CARTERET COUNTIES THROUGH 415 AM EDT...

At 327 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Fairfield Harbour to 6 miles southeast of
Catfish Lake to near Camp Lejeune Center. Movement was northeast at
15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Jacksonville, New Bern, Havelock, Morehead City, Newport, Piney
Green, Camp Lejeune Center, James City, Stella, Swansboro, Hubert,
Cape Carteret, Silverdale, Midway Park, Broad Creek, Janeiro,
Grantsboro, Riverdale, Croatan, and Kuhns.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
