Dangerous road conditions will continue at least into Thursday mornings. Temperatures will fail to rise above freezing today, preventing any meaningful improvement to road conditions. Any modest melting that does occur will rapidly freeze overnight as temperatures fall as low as the upper 0s, especially west of Highway 17. Travel is discouraged. If you must travel, slow down and allow for plenty of space between yourself and other vehicles. Be especially mindful on bridges, overpasses, and secondary roads. $$
