...INCREASED FIRE DANGER CONTINUES FOR PORTIONS OF EASTERN NORTH
CAROLINA TODAY...

The combination of persistent dry conditions, increasing winds,
and multiple ongoing fires will lead to an increased fire danger
threat for portions of eastern North Carolina today.

Outdoor burning is discouraged. Please refer to your local burn
permitting authority on whether you can burn. If you must burn,
use extreme caution and ensure fire suppression equipment is
readily available.
