  S of Ocracoke Inlet NC to Cape Lookout NC out to 20 nm...

* Until 315 AM EDT.

* At 239 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm producing waterspouts was
  located 10 nm southwest of Ar255, or 13 nm southeast of Drum Inlet,
  moving north at 25 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 40 knots.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* The severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.

Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor
