..GUSTY NORTH TO NORTHEAST WINDS CONTINUE ON SATURDAY MORNING...

A strong cold front will continue to sweep across eastern North
Carolina this morning. Behind the front, North and Northeast winds
have increased to around 20 knots with frequent gusts up near 25
kts across the Albemarle, Pamlico, Croatan, and Roanoke Sounds,
the Alligator River and the offshore waters between Duck and
Oregon Inlet. There will still be a 1 to 3 hour period for gusty
winds to continue across these waters this morning before winds
finally ease.

Mariners are advised to be on the lookout for a sharp change in
wind direction and increase in wind speeds Saturday morning.
