...MARINERS BE ALERT FOR GUSTY WINDS BEHIND A COLD FRONT...

A strong cold front was crossing eastern North Carolina this
evening. Behind the front winds shift abruptly to the Northwest
with gusts up to 30 knots expected. This front will be moving
through the inland rivers, Alligator River, and Albemarle Sound
through 10 PM.

Operators of small craft are advised to remain in port until after
10 PM when winds are forecast to diminish.
