A strong cold front will approach the area today and move through tonight. Strong southerly winds will develop this morning ahead of the front with gusts around 40-50 mph. Higher gusts up to 60 mph could also mix to the surface in heavier showers. Damaging wind gusts and isolated tornadoes will also be possible along a line of heavy pre-frontal showers that will move across the burn area between 5 and 7 pm. Rainfall amounts around an inch is expected with this system. Gusty west to northwest winds to around 30 mph continue on Thursday as high pressure builds into the area ushering in drier airmass. High pressure slides off the Southeast Coast on Friday with another frontal system expected to move across the area over this weekend. .REST OF TODAY... Sky/weather.........Cloudy.
