Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern North Carolina
National Weather Service Newport/Morehead City NC
312 AM EST Tue Dec 2 2025

.DISCUSSION....
A coastal low will track along the coast today, brining beneficial
rainfall to ENC. High pressure builds back into the area Wednesday
and Thursday before another coastal system brings rain late this week
into the early weekend. With multiple chances of rain and min RH`s
forecast to remain at or above 45-50%, fire weather concerns are
forecast to be LOW this week.
