.DISCUSSION....
Strong NE winds will continue to gust to 20-30 mph across the
coastal plain and 30-40 mph along the coast today. Rain chances
will ramp up today, peaking this afternoon through early Sunday
morning. Rainfall totals through Monday have increased and are now
2-6+" generally east of Highway 17 with highest totals along the
Outer Banks and Crystal Coast. West of Highway 17, storm total
rainfall amounts are around 1-3".
