...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM PDT FRIDAY
ABOVE 4500 FT IN THE KLAMATH MOUNTAINS WITHIN WESTERN SISKIYOU
COUNTY...

* WHAT...Snow expected above 4500 ft in the Klamath Mountains within
  western Siskiyou County. Total snow accumulations between 8 and 16
  inches, except locally higher amounts up to 24 inches over higher
  peaks. Winds gusting to around 30 to 50 mph.

* WHERE...Western Siskiyou County County above 4500 feet elevation.
  This includes higher portions of Sawyers Bar road and Highway 3
  south of Callahan.

* WHEN...Until 11 AM PDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
  hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday evening and Friday
  morning commutes. Strong winds could cause tree damage.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow levels of around 4500 to 5000 will lower
  to 4000 feet Friday morning.

AFTERNOON TO 11 AM PDT FRIDAY ABOVE 4500 FT IN THE HIGH CENTRAL
CASCADES IN KLAMATH, JACKSON AND DOUGLAS COUNTIES...

* WHAT...Snow expected above 4500 ft in the high central Cascades in
  Klamath, Jackson and Douglas Counties. Total snow accumulations 8
  to 15 inches, except locally higher amounts up to 20 inches near
  Crater Lake. Winds gusting 30 to 50 mph over exposed areas.

* WHERE...South Central Oregon Cascades County above 4500 feet
  elevation. This includes Diamond Lake, Crater Lake, and portions
  of highways 62, 230, and 138.

* WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to 11 AM PDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
  hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday evening and Friday
  morning commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow levels will lower from 5500 feet early
  this evening down to 4000 to 4500 feet Friday morning.
