.DISCUSSION...Dry high pressure is expected through Thursday with
a period of offshore flow and east winds at the ridges. Strong
inversions will lead to generally poor mixing and ventilation with
areas of night and morning valley fog nearby. After a weak front
passes on Friday, high pressure is expected to rebuild this
weekend into next week. Dry conditions are favored as the rain
chances will stay farther north Friday, although northerly winds
will turn slightly breezy Friday afternoon.
