Hot temperatures are expected today and Wednesday. An upper level
disturbance will move south to north across the area late today
and tonight. This is expected to bring isolated to scattered
thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. The highest chances for
storms from the Cascades east and in and around the Shasta Valley
but isolated thunderstorms storms are also possible in western
Siskiyou county. Lingering isolated light showers or
thunderstorms are possible overnight. Then, Wednesday through late
in the week, there is a low (5-10%) for thunderstorms west of the
Cascade crest.

thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. The highest chances for
storms from the Cascades east and in and around the Shasta Valley
but isolated thunderstorms storms are also possible in western

in the week, a chances (15-25%) for thunderstorms continue in the
afternoons/evenings from the Cascades east, with a low (5-10%)
for thunderstorms west of the Cascade crest.
