Fire Weather Forecast for southern Oregon and northern California
National Weather Service Medford, OR
331 AM PDT Sun Jun 30 2024

...Elevated to critical fire weather possible Tuesday through the
weekend...

.DISCUSSION...A prolonged period of drying is expected through
next weekend with very little chances for rainfall in the
forecast. At this time, there is a very small chance for
thunderstorms east of the Cascades this afternoon. High pressure
returns by middle of next week with triple digits possible July
4th through the weekend. This could also bring moderate to
locally poor overnight humidity recoveries to ridges starting
Tuesday night. In other words, elevated to critical fire weather
conditions could become a common theme next week, with critical
fire weather possible starting as early as Tuesday afternoon.
