Fire Weather Forecast for southern Oregon and northern California
National Weather Service Medford, OR
245 PM PDT Sun Jun 30 2024

...Elevated to critical fire weather possible Tuesday through the
weekend...

.DISCUSSION...There is a slight chance for thunderstorms east of
the Cascades this evening. High pressure builds in Tuesday with
very hot and very dry conditions likely through the weekend. This
will also bring moderate to locally poor overnight humidity
recoveries to ridges including gusty northeast winds to the Coast
Range starting Tuesday night. Elevated to critical fire weather
conditions are a theme for the week, starting as early as Tuesday
afternoon with winds and humidity near to critical thresholds in
Siskiyou County.
