.DISCUSSION...Hot and dry weather continues today. Scattered
thunderstorms are expected along and east of the Cascades and
over northern California today, and a few cells may drift into the
Rogue Valley or the western slopes of the Cascades. There is low
confidence for a nocturnal threat tonight that would be
concentrated east of the Cascades and mainly in Southern Oregon.
Afternoon thunderstorm chances continue into early next week.
