...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
Northern and Centeral Biscayne Bay...
Coastal waters from Aveneura to Priceton FL out to 60 NM
   excluding the territorial waters of Bahamas...

At 1214 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from near Key Biscayne to 48 nm east
of Surfside, moving southwest at 10 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, lightning strikes, and heavy downpours. Boaters should seek
safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.

These strong thunderstorms will likely produce winds to around 30
knots, and could pose a serious hazard for boaters. A special marine
warning may eventually be required for these storms. Boaters should
consider heading for shore before these storms arrive.

Report severe weather to the coast guard or nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
forecast office.

Waterspouts are possible with this activity. Remain on the alert in
case warnings are issued for waterspout development.
