This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Atlantic coastal waters,
southeast Florida, southern Florida, southwest Florida and Gulf of
Mexico.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Thunderstorms: A few thunderstorms may develop today across the
region, primarily for interior and southwest Florida. Lightning and
locally strong wind gusts may occur.

Excessive Heat: Peak heat index values will range between 105 and
110. The highest values are expected over the eastern counties where
a heat advisory is in effect today.

Rip Currents: There is a moderate rip for rip currents across
coastal Palm Beach County.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms may develop through the week,
with activity expected to increase towards the end of the week.

Heat indices may range from 105 to 110 degrees through the week,
though perhaps a few degrees below recent observations. Nevertheless,
heat advisories may be necessary.

A moderate to high risk for rip currents could develop along the
east coast later this week as onshore flow becomes prominent.
