.Discussion...
Breezy to at times gusty east-northeasterly surface winds will
remain in place through the first half of the weekend, especially
along the immediate east coast of South Florida. Maximum dispersion
values this afternoon will be generally good category across most of
South Florida with the exception of very good dispersions to the
west of Lake Okeechobee and dispersions in the fair category across
the immediate Gulf coast. Winds will veer more southeasterly during
the day on Sunday as a frontal boundary approaches the Florida
Peninsula. The latest forecast now shows the potential of a few
afternoon showers and perhaps an isolated thunderstorm or two across
the eastern half of the region on Sunday afternoon. Dispersions on
Sunday will be in the fair to generally good range. Relative
humidity values will remain above critical thresholds.
Widespread fog is not expected.
