.Discussion...
High pressure in the western Atlantic will continue to dominate the
weather pattern across the region through the weekend. This will
allow for winds to generally remain light and sea breeze driven
during this time frame. A relatively thick plume of Saharan Dust
will remain in place over South Florida through the weekend before
gradually thinning out early next week. While this will help to
limit shower and thunderstorm coverage across the region over the
weekend, isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms cannot be
ruled out where the sea breezes collide over the interior. Chances
of showers and thunderstorms will gradually increase early next week
and return to more of a typical summertime pattern. Maximum
dispersion values this afternoon will remain fair across most areas,
however, they will be generally good across the Lake Okeechobee
region.
Widespread fog is not anticipated.
