...Maximum Dispersion Above 75 Lake Okeechobee and Inland...
South to southwesterly winds will continue across the region today
along with dry conditions as high pressure slowly pulls away from
the region. A cold front will approach and move through South
Florida on Monday which will increase the chances of showers and
thunderstorms out ahead of the front. Breezy conditions will also
develop across all of South Florida on Monday out ahead of the
front. Behind the front, drier conditions will return to the region
for the remainder of the week as another area of high pressure moves
through. Maximum dispersion values this afternoon will be good to
very good across most areas. Some areas may be locally excellent
around the Lake Okeechobee region and inland around Big Cypress.
Widespread fog is not forecast tonight.
