Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves...along with the occasional height of the average highest 10 percent of the waves. Weak high pressure over the western Atlantic and low pressure over the eastern Gulf will produce a light to gentle easterly to southeasterly this weekend and early next week, except shifting from the southwest over the Gulf waters in the afternoons with sea breezes. Periods of showers and thunderstorms will affect the local waters through the weekend, with a slight reduction in coverage early next week. Any showers or thunderstorms are capable of producing brief periods of rough seas and gusty winds. Gulf Stream Hazards: None.
