...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN CRAIGHEAD AND
NORTHEASTERN POINSETT COUNTIES THROUGH 545 PM CDT...

At 508 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Greenfield, or near Jonesboro, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hergett, Apt, Delfore, Lake City, Tulot, Valley View, Hatchie Coon,
Gum Point, Farrville, Lester, Craighead Forest Park, Maple Grove,
Lepanto, Jonesboro, Promised Land, Caraway, Cary, Harrisburg, Judd
Hill, and Lache Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for
eastern Arkansas.
