.DISCUSSION...
Scattered thunderstorms over north Mississippi this afternoon
will dissipate around sunset. Slightly cooler and drier air will
move into the Mid-South for Monday under a northerly wind regime,
but the heat will return by Tuesday. Dry weather is anticipated
Monday and Tuesday with scattered afternoon thunderstorms possible
each day Wednesday through the weekend. The heat and humidity will
return by midweek.
