...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM CDT THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring.

* WHERE...A portion of East Arkansas, including the following
  county, Poinsett.

* WHEN...Until 800 PM CDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads
  remain closed across the county due to significant river flooding
  along and near the St. Francis and Cache Rivers.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 755 PM CDT, emergency management reported flooding in the
    warned area. Flooding is already occurring.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Trumann, Marked Tree, Harrisburg, Lepanto, Tyronza, Weiner,
    Waldenburg, Greenfield, Fisher, Whitaker, Landers, Weona,
    McCormick, Weona Junction, Promised Land, Old Weona, Stewart,
    Bay Village, Maple Grove and Wiley Crossing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
