Warning for the following rivers in Mississippi...

  Buttahatchie River near Aberdeen

For the Buttahatchie River...including Aberdeen...Minor flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY EVENING TO LATE SATURDAY
EVENING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Buttahatchie River near Aberdeen.

* WHEN...From Wednesday evening to late Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Water is flowing over Air Base Road on the
  west bank of the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 8.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late tomorrow evening to a crest of 16.7 feet early Thursday
    afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Saturday
    afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
