...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of West Tennessee, including the following
  counties, Crockett, Gibson and Haywood.

* WHEN...Until 1100 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Overflowing poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or
  other areas is occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 735 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor
    flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the
    advisory area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Humboldt, Alamo, Bells, Chestnut Bluff, Maury City,
    Friendship, Gadsden, Brims Corner, Johnsons Grove, Crockett
    Mills, Owl City, Maury Junction, Quincy, Dog Hill, Rudolph,
    Hodson, Fruitvale, Coxville, Gibson Wells and Frog Jump.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
