  Mississippi River at Caruthersville

  Mississippi River at Osceola

For the Lower Mississippi River...including Tiptonville,
Caruthersville, Osceola, Memphis, Tunica Mhoon Landing, Helena...
Major flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* IMPACTS...At 47.0 feet, In Mississippi, almost all of Island
  Number 67 is covered by water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 46.5 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 10:00 PM CDT Friday was 46.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 46.6
    feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
    flood stage Friday, April 25.
  - Flood stage is 44.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Memphis.

* WHEN...Until Friday, April 25.

* IMPACTS...At 37.0 feet, In Arkansas, the grain terminal and nearby
  businesses south of West Memphis are being covered by water. At
  Memphis, the fuel facility south of the river gauge is flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 37.4 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 10:00 PM CDT Friday was 37.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 37.4
    feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
    flood stage early Thursday morning.
  - Flood stage is 34.0 feet.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Tunica Mhoon Landing.

* WHEN...Until Sunday, April 27.

* IMPACTS...At 38.0 feet, Water is beginning to go over Loggerhead
  Lane going into Bordeaux Camp. Drum Cove is flooding, and Buffalo
  Drive is mostly covered. The south ends of Ricky Road and Brown
  Road are flooded, along with the street going out of Nel-Win Camp.
  Tammy Road and Lloyd Road are flooded. Bee Trail and Plum Road are
  going underwater. The east part of Sherry Lane is being flooded
  and Peters Island is almost completely inundated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 38.2 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:00 PM CDT Friday was 38.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 38.2
    feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
    flood stage Saturday, April 26.
  - Flood stage is 30.0 feet.

* WHEN...Until Friday, April 25.

* IMPACTS...At 39.0 feet, Floodwater has reached the foot of the
  floodwall protecting Caruthersville, Missouri. In Tennessee, the
  grain terminal south of the Interstate 155 bridge is flooding.
  Highway 88 is flooded at places in the north bottom of Lauderdale
  County. Roads to and from Chisholm Lake are flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 39.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 10:00 PM CDT Friday was 39.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will Fall below flood stage late
    Thursday morning.
  - Flood stage is 32.0 feet.

* WHEN...Until Saturday, April 26.

* IMPACTS...At 37.0 feet, In Tennessee, houses along the west part
  of Grammer Road are flooding and evacuation is cut off. The south
  end of Grainery Road is inundated. Homesteads along Highway 19
  West just east of T. Rossinger Road are going underwater. Shoaf
  Landing Road is flooding. Farmstead on Island 37 floods.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 37.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 10:00 PM CDT Friday was 37.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Friday, April 25 and continue falling to 7.8 feet Friday, May
    09.
  - Flood stage is 28.0 feet.
