Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
205 AM CDT Sun Apr 6 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns remain low this weekend into next week.
Increased moisture and wetting rains impacted the region and have
greatly improved fuel conditions. A drying period resumes into
next week with afternoons of widespread below critical relative
humidity and fair to poor overnight recovery. Temperatures climb
back above normal also. With lower ERC percentiles and generally
light 20 ft winds, the fire weather risk will be minimized
despite the dry conditions.
