Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
140 PM CST Tue Dec 2 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns remain minimal. Temperatures continue an
upward trend tomorrow ahead of another front that knocks conditions
down well below normal Thursday. The forecast remains dry until
Thursday, when a low chance (10-30%) of rain enters the picture,
mainly across the Big Bend. ERCs remain below the 50th percentile,
min RHs remain above critical thresholds, and RH recovery overnight
will be good to excellent through the period.

For point-specific forecasts please see the Point Fire Weather
Matrix product issued by the Midland/Odessa National Weather
Service Office.
