FIRE DANGER STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LITTLE ROCK AR
556 AM CST Fri Feb 28 2025

...ELEVATED WILDFIRE THREAT TODAY...

There is an elevated threat for wildfires across much of Arkansas
today. Relative humidity values are forecast to drop into the 20
to 25 percent range in most areas, with a few locations falling
below 20 percent at times. These values, combined with gusty southwest
winds and unseasonably warm temperatures, will result in an elevated
wildfire threat.

If a wildfire is observed, report it by dialing 911, or contact the
Department of Agriculture Forestry Division at (800) 468-8834.
