There is an elevated threat for wildfires across much of Arkansas today. Relative humidity values are forecast to drop into the 20 to 25 percent range in most areas, with a few locations falling below 20 percent at times. These values, combined with gusty southwest winds and unseasonably warm temperatures, will result in an elevated wildfire threat. If a wildfire is observed, report it by dialing 911, or contact the Department of Agriculture Forestry Division at (800) 468-8834. $$ 44
