A few briefly strong storms may be possible, capable of some small hail and wind gusts. However, a more widespread severe weather threat is not anticipated at this time. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday Hazardous heat will return as early as Wednesday and will remain the primary concern. Daily high temperatures are expected to top out near triple digits at most locations, in conjunction with overnight low temperatures near 80 degrees, providing little to no relief during the overnight hours. Daily maximum heat index values will be in excess of 105 to 110 degrees across much of the forecast area, prompting the need for additional heat headlines. Rain and isolated thunderstorms will likely be present on Friday into Saturday as a cold front become a stationary front across the state. Any Fourth of July plans that extend beyond Thursday will likely need to closely monitor rain and thunderstorm chances that will be present across the state. Confidence of severe weather remains too low this far out; however, lightning would definitely be a major concern regardless if a storm is strong or severe as many will be celebrating the holiday outdoors statewide on Friday and into the weekend. .Spotter Information Statement...
