This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Rain chances will continue across the state this afternoon and
overnight, a few rumbles of thunder will be possible in the
strongest of cells, but no organized convection is expected. No
hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected on Saturday and
while a strong storm or two can not be discounted, widespread severe
weather is not expected.

A strong cold front will move across the region on Sunday with a
better chance of seeing strong to possibly severe thunderstorms. The
set up will favor strong gusty winds, large hail and even tornadoes
over a good part of the state. These storms are forecast to impact
the state Sunday afternoon into the evening hours.

Additional showers and thunderstorms are expected on
Wednesday...some of which could be severe as well. This cold front
is forecast to stall across the state through at least the weekend and
could lead to many rounds of heavy rain and lead to an increased flooding
potential across the state.

.Spotter Information Statement...

Spotter activation will not be needed.
