This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Hazardous winter weather conditions, including impactful snowfall
and other associated mixed precipitation types, is expected across
the forecast area through tonight and much of Friday.

Areas of greatest concern and possible impacts due to snowfall
includes western central to northern central Arkansas, and the
higher terrain of the Ouachita and Boston Mountains, with
widespread accumulations of 6 inches or more possible. Snowfall
accumulations of up to 4 to 5 inches will be possible across much
of central, eastern, and northeastern Arkansas through Friday
afternoon.

Intermittent freezing rain will be possible across far southern
Arkansas through the overnight period Thursday night, and could
lead to hazardous road conditions by Friday morning.

Hazardous driving conditions are expected across the state,
particularly through the overnight period Thursday night. Travel
should be delayed if possible, and caution should be used if
travel is necessary.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
