This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will remain possible
through tonight for most areas...with the best chances over
northern to northeast sections. While some locally heavy rainfall
could be seen...widespread heavy rainfall is not expected. A brief
strong storm could also be seen...but organized strong to severe
weather is not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Chances for thunderstorms decrease on Tuesday...with warm and
humid conditions expected by Wednesday. Temperatures could exceed
90 degrees for some areas on Wednesday afternoon...with heat index
values likely peaking in the low to mid 90s.

Slightly cooler conditions will come later in the week as
thunderstorm chances return to the forecast. These thunderstorms
will be possible off and on through the weekend as a cold front
moves into the region. Locally heavy rainfall will be possible.
The threat for seeing organized severe weather looks low at this
time.

.Spotter Information Statement...

Spotter activation will not be needed.
