.Discussion...
Breezy north to northwest winds will continue through mid
afternoon in wake of the dry cold front passage. Winds will
tamper off late this afternoon and become light and variable
overnight. Light south to southwest winds are expected through
Friday, before another dry front pushes across the state Friday
night into Saturday, then veering to the northeast and east but
remaining light through early next week. A much colder air mass
will follow the cold front this weekend and temperatures will
gradually moderate early next week. Min RH values will remain
below critical thresholds through the forecast period. Vent rates
through the rest of today will be range from very good to
excellent across northern Arkansas to fair to good across central
Arkansas to poor across southern Arkansas. After today, vent rates
will be poor through early next week.
