...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Arkansas...

  Buffalo River Near St Joe affecting Searcy County.

For the Buffalo River...including St Joe...Moderate flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

River forecasts are based on current conditions and rainfall
forecasted to occur over the next 24 hours. During periods of
flooding...Evening forecasts are reissued with updated rainfall
forecasts.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT TO MONDAY
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Buffalo River near St Joe.

* WHEN...From late tonight to Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 46.5 feet, Crest of April 25 2004 was 46.51 feet.
  Primary impacts are to the recreational facilities of the National
  Park Service, such as Tyler Bend Campground near U.S. Highway 65.
  River is swift and dangerous and may be carrying a tremendous
  amount of debris. Floating and other recreational activities on
  and along the river should be avoided.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:45 AM CDT Friday the stage was 9.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    later Friday night to a crest of 48.0 feet Saturday evening.
    It will then fall below flood stage late Sunday morning.
  - Flood stage is 27.0 feet.
