Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

High pressure will continue to move east of the area today while
Chantal moves into the Carolinas. In advance of this system, a few
showers and thunderstorms may reach the area this afternoon into
tonight. The remnant low pressure will weaken Monday while a cold
front approaches from the northwest, combining to bring increasing
rain chances. The front may stall nearby through the middle to
latter portions of the week, resulting in continued humid and unsettled
conditions.
