Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service Baltimore MD/Washington DC
1225 AM EDT Mon Aug 18 2025

Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

A cold front will track through the region early this morning
before stalling to the south near the Virginia/North Carolina
border. This frontal system remains south of the area through
mid-week. Persistent easterly onshore flow will lead to cloudy and
cool conditions along with the potential for showers. By Thursday,
this front eventually pushes away to the south and east as a cold
front. Weak high pressure returns over the region by late in the
week into the weekend.
