Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region

A frontal system will approach from the west today, bringing a
chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly this afternoon and
evening. Weak high pressure will move across the area Friday. A
stronger cold front will reach the area Saturday, providing
another opportunity for showers and thunderstorms. Another push of
below normal temperatures will follow into early next week as
strong high pressure builds to the north.
