Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

High pressure will move southeastward from New England today.
Meanwhile, clouds and rain associated with a slow moving low
pressure system over the lower Mississippi Valley will gradually
spread into the area through tonight. This system will bring
widespread showers with embedded thunderstorms Tuesday and
Wednesday as it tracks northeastward. The low will start to pull
away Thursday but showers and thunderstorms remain possible.
Additional disturbances will quickly follow from the west, with
more showers and thunderstorms possible Friday and Saturday.
