.DISCUSSION...

Strong high pressure will graudally push offshore Monday night into Tuesday
allowing for south to southwesterly return flow to increase across the burn
location. Meanwhile, a cold front will approach from the Ohio River Valley
Tuesday afternoon before crossing the area Tuesday night into Wednesday morning
bringing the next chance of measurable rainfall to the region. Rainfall amounts
of a quarter to a half an inch are possible over the burn location late Tuesday night
through Wednesday midday.

Humidity values will gradually climb late Monday into Tuesday as moisture builds
on southerly flow. Expect recoveries around 100 percent Monday night with minimum
relative humidity values falling between 55 to 60 percent Tuesday afternoon. These values
could trend slightly lower Tuesday afternoon given downsloping off the Blue Ridge
which will yield temperatures in the low 80s over the burn location.

Winds will remain light out of the south Monday night at 5 to 10 mph before increasing
to 7 to 15 mph late Tuesday morning into Tuesday afternoon. Gusts up to 25 mph are
possible Tuesday afternoon as the gradient tightens between the departing high
offshore and incoming cold frontal boundary from the Ohio River Valley.

Minimum relative humidity values will fall back into the 50 to 55 percent range
Wednesday afternoon as winds shift back toward the west and northwest direction. Expect
gusts up to 20 mph through the afternoon as a drier and cooler post-frontal airmass
moves in.
