.DISCUSSION...
Thick cloud cover will remain a fixture in today`s forecast with
below normal temperatures expected. The latest observations around
this location are in the mid 50s. With some late day cloud breaks,
temperatures should be able to rise to near 60 degrees later this
afternoon. The latest radar imagery shows some residual light
shower activity pivoting through northern Loudoun into Montgomery
County. This light activity moves through over the next hour or
two. In the wake, additional isolated showers may fire up given
enough breaks in the clouds. Besides the potential for showers,
northwesterly winds may gust up to 15 mph this afternoon.

Clouds decrease overnight which will yield a seasonably chilly
night ahead. Forecast lows are in the mid 40s, accompanied by
northwesterly winds around 5 to 10 mph. High pressure moves in for
Saturday allowing for much more tranquil weather. Plenty of
sunshine is anticipated which comes with highs near 70 degrees.
This does come with northwesterly breezes up to 20 to 25 mph.
