DECEMBER 2024 BROUGHT WARMER AND WETTER THAN NORMAL CONDITIONS TO
SOUTHEAST WASHINGTON AND THE SOUTH IDAHO PANHANDLE.  THE MONTH
BROUGHT SEVERAL ROUNDS OF RAIN AND MOUNTAIN SNOW, BUT NO ABNORMALLY
WET DAYS. ON THE 18TH A STRONG COLD FRONT DELIVERED HIGH WINDS. PEAK
WIND GUSTS INCLUDE 61 MPH AT THE PULLMAN AIRPORT, 55 MPH DUSTY, 48
MPH POMEROY AND THE LEWISTON AIRPORT, 47 MPH MISSION CREEK.  ON THE
26TH ANOTHER STRONG BOUT OF WINDS OCCURRED AS A DEEP LOW PRESSURE
SYSTEM MOVED INTO THE REGION. WIND GUSTS INCLUDE 62 MPH AT ALDER
RIDGE IN THE BLUE MOUNTAINS, 56 MPH ALPOWA SUMMIT, AND 51 MPH AT THE
PULLMAN AIRPORT.

NO RECORDS WERE SET DURING THE MONTH AT THE LEWISTON AIRPORT.
