...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CHILDRESS AND NORTHEASTERN
COTTLE COUNTIES THROUGH 845 PM CDT...

At 831 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Dodson, or 8 miles west of Hollis, moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Childress and Kirkland.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for the Panhandle
of and northwestern Texas.
