...Light snow expected late tonight into Saturday...

A storm system will move into and over West Texas tonight through
tomorrow evening. Precipitation will start out as rain, and will
then transition into a rain-snow mix before switching to snow.
Total snow accumulations will be light, at less than one inch
across the far southern Texas Panhandle, and the northern South
and Rolling Plains. Slick spots will be possible tomorrow morning,
especially on bridges and overpasses, but low temperatures are
forecast to be above 30 degrees, which should reduce the potential
for snow to accumulate on roadways. Even though the snow rates
will be light, please exercise caution while driving tomorrow.
